Thread: Ffp?

    Ffp?

There's a worrying rumour stating Wolves are very close to a 10 point deduction due to financial losses over a rolling 3 year period.

Cannot work that one out with the selling of Nunes, Neves and Collins recently but nonetheless I wouldn't be surprised if we get stamped on like Everton were.

The likes of Man City, Chelsea and Newcastle - nothing to see here, carry on as normal.

Premier League should just make a new rule: every club outside of Man City, Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle and Tottenham are deducted 10 points at the beginning of every season and the points will be awarded evenly among those seven clubs. Might as well.

Thought the tight pursestrings were to avoid this. I didn’t expect us to spend very big this January anyways.

I don’t know what to believe, I assumed that our Summer business meant that we were clean as far as FFP is concerned… I’m hoping this story line is just click bait.

Despite spurious reports today Wolves are totally confident that they will not breach the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules, with the latest results due to be released this weekend. #wwfc

This was reported Liam Kean of the Express and Star yesterday.

I read somewhere that the Nunes sale was too late for the accounting period.

    I've also read that Woking.

Maybe the reason for the 'loan moves only' in January?

Speculation regarding Gomes (spurs) Neto (Arsenal) now doing the rounds.

    Man I hate January.

The price being quoted for Gomes is laughable, £30 Million. He is worth double that. It is incredible how the Sky six think they can just cherry pick who they want. Let their scouts go and find some unpolished diamonds like we have too.

Gomes has been one of our best signings in recent windows, £30 million is insulting. If I were him I'd stick around until Summer 2025 unless a quality Champion League level side come in for him.
