A group wanted to explore the proposal whilst others (mainly those actually in positions at the club) wanted to protect their own interests and were willing to show no interest in any buy out proposal. Those interested were then supported by a 'breakaway group' of Dee4Life members and eventually the breakaway group prevailed and the self preservation society lost the Gardyne vote.
I bitterly regret voting in favour of the FPS offer as they have not carried out what they said they would do if the Dee4life members voted in favour of them purchasing a majority shareholding in Dundee Football Club Limited.
