Hope he doesn't "do a Jackett."
I know what your saying, but I do think that’s just his style.used to see him at Wigan when they were top of league.and he was exactly the same.sometimes people can waffle on too much and it becomes muddying or open to interpretation.he his concise what’s in and not within his remit.

I think the club are being prudent, we have a lower wage bill now than at the end of Decemeber 31st, the club has already said that they want to send the young lad out on loan and there are strong rumours kelly is off out too. That leaves some money left to bring in a couple of fresh faces and my gut tells me that if we can't get a LR player that will suit us in L1 it will be a couple of loan players and therefore late in the window. Although I think TS means what he said in the interview yesterday I don't really think they believe we will stay up and therefore they have made a decision to not increase investment this window and to focus on the summer and the L1 campaign. Not really going to help get those absent season ticket holders back in their seats, but short-term financially it makes sense as they have already paid, however will they renew.

I wondered the same thing. Maybe they’ve decided it’d be throwing good money after bad investing in players when we look certain to be relegated? Can see a big drop in season ticket sales though if this current season is allowed to simply petered out.

You're probably right. Sometimes less is more.

Huddersfield have already brought in four and looking to bring in another this week. We've let three out and nobody's come in.Is LR going to face the same problem MT had ,by missing out on his targeted players and finishing up with second and third choice signings? Not having a match this weekend would have been ideal time to bring in new players having the extra time to work with them and meet the team.Probably looking to save a weeks wages and sign on the last day.

Let's be honest, we're down. Richardson is here for next year.

I'd rather not sign anyway and keep our funds available (if any) than waste it on a few nobody loans from a premier league team.

Good post. I for one will carry on with my S card, but, renew next July, not sure.

I feel pretty much the same.
There's only so much bullshine one can take from the chairman.
If we don't sign anyone this month I reckon NYS will be a lot emptier for the rest of this season although the reported attendances will still look reasonable because of the pre-existing season ticket sales.

Loss of fans in the stadium.

They could do what they did during covid, & use cardboard cut-outs for spectators.
