The link to the post match interview with BTA on this was also interesting. He is clearly working and improving on areas of his game and always comes across well. He also makes a point of giving a shout out to Adam Reach, saying how he is underestimated which echoes what Corberan has said about him in the past too. Like others, I haven't particularly rated Reach's performances to date but clearly he must be doing some things right in training which Carlos and others see that we dont. Had a decent showing today though and BTA specifically mentioning him is perhaps indicative of the current team spirit which is always good to see.

When the young lads score you can see how happy the team is. There’s a wonderful spirit at this club, Corberan is a top top manager and yes Reach didn’t put a foot wrong yesterday, will be good to finally see his value. Corberan is masterfully managing injured players, young talent, international call ups, and behind the scenes speculation of takeovers. Huge respect.

We are in 5th place where I thought most of us would have expected us to be. Having said this, I personally think that we have ‘punched above our weight’ considering the many injuries that we have had to contend with. I feel that automatic promotion is out of reach but will be disappointed if we don’t maintain our play-off position. The likes of Leicester, Southampton and Leeds look strong contenders but I think Ipswich could fall away a little. I could be wrong though.

Strange isn't it, at times you hear that we have a weak squad (not from pundits or commentators though) yet on the other hand we almost have an embarrassment of riches.

At the start of the season I was worried that we might be scraping along in the bottom half of the table, so I am very pleasantly impressed with our current form. I was also critical of Adam Reach being in the starting line up yesterday but by all accounts, he had a good game and I am genuinely pleased that he did. It’s so good to see when they all play as a team; Carlos is certainly doing a great job.
