you think 20 is too old ? No development left in a 20 year old then ?

Glass will be 24 in June on the other hand so not the same

Hopefully the other new addition Alex grieve will give us that.

I just don't think he's good enough. He doesn't affect games the way we need him to. Doesn't step up to the plate as a starter, and rarely makes the impact we need him to as a sub. The boy's 20 years old, same as Kai, and the difference between the two is there for all to see. He was playing at a higher level than Kai last year, so there's no excuse for his progression being where it is. If we go up next season, then it's going to be a step up again for him, when he hasn't even broken through as a consistent Championship player. If he was good enough, he'd be starting more games to gain that consistency. He reminds me of Greg Cameron. Talented, but just not quite there.

I'd rather we had someone in to unlock defences than someone with pace tbh. It's our biggest failing atm. Everything we do goes out wide as we have no one creative with the ability to cut teams open. Wotherspoon's definitely that type of player. No. 10 or an advanced 8 are the Gaffers words today, when asked about where he'd play.

Your are right about his current contribution, particularly when compared to KF. But, young players do develop at different speeds and I'd say it's still too early to write him off.

On Mochrie, of course there is big room for improvement. However at 20 y/o and just getting his first proper chance at us, he isn't exactly doing badly imo.
Hope the club stand by him and let's see how he develops in a balanced team with good experienced pros like Wotherspoon to learn from, instead of the basket case club we've been. I can definitely see a player there.

Fair enough, you have your view and it's similar to mine was in the summer but he's changed my opinion and can now see it with him tbh, can see him becoming a very good player

For me he is better than Cameron too, better shot, better pass, more athletic, better technique and quicker, has all the tools

Think for me we'd be wise to get him and kai tied down

I'd still like him to do more but in terms of (Goals per 90 and Goals+Assists per 90) he is the leading midfielder at the club which suggests if he had more game time he would produce more.
