They will have spent more money on Lawyers than we have on players.

Big surprise... cheats charter rolls on. Can't have a massive club in div 2... down you go little Luton.
    This football business stinks.

Probably be adjusted again if they are in a relegation spot in May.
Just change then figures until it gives the outcome they want

A Government select committee chaired by Dame Caroline Dineage spent a lot of time and our money producing a report into football finance. It basically said to the Prem and EFL: start spreading the money around or we might have to get heavy with you. But it was a toothless, pointless exercise that achieved nothing and said nothing that we don't already know. And yet these clowns spent months reaching a conclusion. Nothing has happened. Nothing will happen. We live in the land of laissez-faire. After the General Election things might change. There's that word "might" again

Wow what a surprise Everton reveal more losses!

Now let's see what the FA will do about this lot. Probably not a lot.

    According to that BBC report:-

Everton have reported financial losses of £89.1m in their latest accounts covering the 2022-23 season.

It is the sixth successive year of losses for the Toffees and more than double the £44.7m deficit in 2021-22.

    A fine piece of journalism

2 x 44.7 is 89.4 so where does the more than double come from?
