Nevertheless every game is important to Jess Horsley's Feminines and winning is a good habit to maintain.

Fans are advised to get down early to The Astroturf on Sunday 2-00pm KO. Free entry.
Jess's Women storm into Semi Finals with a 1-0 win over Bradford.

It's crunch time in the league promotion battle for Jess's Women.

Three of the mighty North East teams away from home to play--Sunderland, South Shields and Wallsend with Sunderland first up on Sunday.

Only one team is promoted and with Spennymoor now 3 pts clear Jess's Feminines cannot afford any slip ups.

    Go Well !

A euphoric coach journey back to Grove Street for Jess's Feminines after an outstanding victory at Sunderland.

The one promotion spot now seems to be between four teams in the 22 game season with the crunch games coming of South Shields-v-Barnsley and Wallsend-v-Barnsley. Latest league Table---

    .......Team............P....W....D....L....GD....P ts

    1. Spennymoor.....20...14...1...5....31....40 (3 pts deducted)

    2..Barnsley...........18...13... 1.. 4...30....40

    3..South Shields....18...12...2...4...36....38

    4..Wallsend...........17...11...2...4...13....35

Go Well the Women of Grove Street !

Amidst all the turmoil in the Men's section of the club there is a fantastic story to be read about the Women, led by Jess Horsley.

Next up is the League Cup Semi Final at home to one of the top teams in the Tier Six Leagues, Ossett. (Barnsley in Tier Five)

A dramatic night to come taking on Ossett under the lights of The Astroturf Stadium, this Wednesday 24 th April, 7-45pm KO. Free entry. You are advised to get there early.

    Go Well Jess's Feminines.

There was dancing late into the night on Grove Street as Jess's heroines swept into a place in the League Cup Final with a convincing 2-1 win over Ossett.

Football people are now sitting up and taking notice of what Jess is building.

Put her in charge on Saturday SB , probably the most qualified coach at the club at the moment .

The first early "strong rumour" to be the next Men's Head Coach at Oakwell, Dominik Thalhammer, coached the Austrian Women's Team from 2012 to 2020 so it may not be a bad shout.

Just a thought crossed my mind with this one……… what if, a League team wanted to sign and play a woman in the EFL. …? regardless of “she wouldn’t be good/strong enough”
    Would she be allowed?
