I don't want us to share anything with the BNB's apart from the city. I'm sure the majority of them feel the same way about us. The one thing I will give most Dees respect for is supporting their local team instead of jumping on the OF bandwagon.

Can someone please answer a simple question?,how the phuck can anyone ask for planning permission to build on land they do not own?.Here is another one,am i allowed to knock down my fence in the backies and extend my garden into a park owned by the council and then rebuild my fence?

I am not doubting your info James but am i the only person in Dundee not aware that an American company want 25% of Camperdown Park and see no red flags from the council in achieving their objectives?.Have they offered millions for the land that i must have missed?.

You’ve got it all in one GB - if (and I mean IF as I think this is all pie in the sky stuff frankly) this ever gets put forward to formal planning permission to the Cooncil, I, and I suspect many, many others will put in an objection on the basis of this ludicrous land grab……………….

I'm led to believe that's now not part of the plan.

If DFC end up in a brand spanking new stadium on land that is owned by the Texans then good for them,on land owned by the council now that's a different kettle O fish. The training facility looks like its in Campy but i maybe wrong with that assumption.

If you’re looking at the plans that have been previously available, that’s because the facility is in Camperdown GB.

If, as tHeArAb says, the plans have been changed then fair enough. However this is what I’ve been aware of to date below……….

I'm not seeing a retail park and car parking on that plan.
On a wider note though I dont think the scheme has even been in for outline planning. Lot of hurdles to get over before a spade hits the ground.
And not seen anything confirming the Texans have the investment partnership needed.
I doubt Kilmac at the Campy have the capital to partner this. We're talking mega bucks $$$$

If they ever get around to formally applying for permission to go ahead with this I will be amazed.

And if it involves the acquisition of any blade of grass from Campy I (along with thousands of Dundonians) will be right in there with my formal objection.

In short. This is just another one of their fantasies. Like partnering up with AC Milan or Man City 😂 😂 😂 Anyone else remember DCT printing that nonsense? Hilarious stuff from The Fun. BIG on ideas though.
