If we could get De Ligt going the other way, I would be tempted to let Tripps go to Bayern.

If (and it is big IF) he does go to Munich, then who would be captain with Botman - Schar pair as DC?
I want him to stay. He can be replaced with Tino as a player, but Trips influence goes way beyond the pitch and match days.

Which is why I don't think he'll go...not this window, at least.

Latest is that they've offered £15 million.

    As if???

15 million euros, which is about £13 million.

We're apperently holding out for £20 million if they want him.

I could see us letting them talk if they came up to £15 million to be honest.

B.M. still sniffing around but claim E16 mil is top whack for them. Below from the Chronicle.

"Newcastle United are braced for another bid from Bayern Munich for Kieran Trippier with the German giants still keen on the full-back.

However, fresh suggestions from Germany today are that Bayern will not go past €16million in their quest for Trippier and are prepared to walk away from the deal."
