Checking rumours via the news now site, I can see reports on us being after Celtic winger Mikey Johnston and also on us waiting to see if young AC Milan attacker Chaka Traore will agree personal terms for a loan deal but nothing about Palmer. Hopefully this remains the case!

I saw that the story on the E&S website on one of the pages that just simply repeats a twitter feed.....

Totally agree with you on this! Absolutely ridiculous that online newspapers require you to sign up before you are able to read an article beyond the first few lines. All began with so called higher end publications like The Telegraph but for the E&S to do it seems farcical -I just wonder how many actually signed up for the privilege. Still, explains why I missed the story if it was with them. As for the online Birmingham Mail, no point even trying to read articles there anymore due to being thwarted by pop ups and adverts at every turn 😡
