    Silkmen

Cheshire Senior Cup Quarter Final against the Silkmen tonight ...

Don't normally take much notice of these fixtures - but tonight is probably a chance to play our 2 new loanees, and give them some game time (?)

Fingers crossed that some of our 'walking wounded' can also be given 30/45/60 minutes to assess their fitness.

    Hoping for a win

FGS Austerfield in a 5-2 win

If I wasn't flying back from Lanzarote, I'd be there tonight.
Interesting that having romped the previous 2 levels they've played at they are now finding things not so easy. Still, even if macc did well it'd be, at least 3 years before we could face other.

Austerfield was never going to play. He had 90 minutes on Saturday and will almost certainly be doing the same against Tranmere.

Just thought they might try something for the first 45 ....

... good to see Evans still knows how to score

    Funny old game innit ...

First half added time, they have a goal disallowed for off-site, and we go up the other end and score

    HT 3-1
