    Travel Advice For Saturday

Fellow Baggie and I meeting up for a weekend in Brum City Centre and will travel to The Hawthorns by tram. Will have the wives with us. Safe enough to travel back after the match?

Whilst I would hope it would be ok, personally I advise caution, notwithstanding the delayed exit of visiting supporters.
I have no experience of what the policing and tram security is like, I would be nervous, particularly travelling with your wives. It may be that regular tram users from Brum will be able to provide more details.
Sad to say, if it was me, I don’t think I would wear my Albion colours.
What a sad reflection of society.

Don't think the trains are running tomorrow and if they are it will be to a much reduced timetable so there's going to be an increase of passengers on the tram.

If you're using it to head into Brum afterwards I recommend a couple of tots in either the Vine or the Sportsman to let the initial rush clear. Enjoy 😎 .

    Update. No trains at all.

Thanks for the info. Walk back to the Vine for a quick one sounds like a fine idea
