My inspirational post earlier did the trick. Seriously though, that was a massive result but we need to be creating and scoring more goals. Morton hammered Dunfermline today and we couldnt even manage 1 against them.

Shedka.....clearly 135 minutes to save his job. If he lost this and then lost next week......then I would imagine that the fans would be screaming for his head. We got out of jail today and I am delighted that we did. For the first time, I think we had a plan B!
We are still too negative in our play, we are still not doing enough in the final third, we are still not turning possession into goals, we are diabolical at corners!
I said before the game that we should be winning this comfortably. Ayr didn't play with 11 behind the ball, they went toe to toe with us. We came out winners but we made hard work of it.
We will have to play a hell of a lot better against Raith, they will be happy to play with 11 behind the ball and I think JG struggles to break down teams.
3pts and up the road, is the main thing!

And no they are responsible for us being top, culpable for anything else, they are doing well by the club fit the most part after the **** show of last season

Sick of the chronic negativity in our support
The irony in that comment is positively YOU....

I do agree with you, that there are plenty just waiting to dive in there with negativty, but they must feel the same, when after another (whatever) you do the polar opposite.

In saying that... I didn't see that win coming after 2 minutes.

Shoogly peg, 135 mins to save his job, dearie me....

You would think doing better than anyone predicted in the summer is not trying to get promoted, regardless of final score that is knee jerk hyperbole
Agreed. At the time of the comment, not a chance his job is on the line.

Raith won't play 11 behind the ball mate. They're one of the most attacking teams in the league. Far better at it than we are, in fact.

United coming from behind to go 4pts clear. Jam tarts coming from behind to beat the fun. If Scotland go onto smash the Welsh it will be a fine Saturday indeed. 🖤🧡

To be fair, it all depends on expectations. We are expected to win this league, for umpt e e n reasons. If we don't look like doing it, folk will grumble, fair enough. SO.. glad Raith are having a mini-crisis. I wonder who's fans are worried the most???

Think we need to calm down guys. Total exaggerations appearing on here every time we are losing or not leading. We really need to calm down and like I said in a previous post - not enjoy the ride. We are not going to steamroller teams in this league as its always the hardest to predict and never easy. We seem to pick up more points away as teams open up a bit more when at home then they sit in at Tannadice.

Our points total is exactly what we would be hoping for at this stage of the season and if it were not for Raith picking up lots of extra points from last minute goals then I think we'd be cutting our team a bit more slack as we'd be well ahead.

In an ideal world we'd be watching free flowing football and running all over teams but never going to happen and personally I'd rather have the 3 points with ugly 2-1 victories than playing well with nothing to show but it would be different if we were playing ugly and losing more games.......but we're not are we🤔

I would hate for a new manager to come in. Crazy talk regardless of what happened today. I trust Goodwin knows whats needed. I do think an attacking coach is required though and we should look to sort that ASAP. I still think our main problem though is the lack of pace in the team and I'm sure Goodwin knows this come summer transfer window.
