    Twisted ankle so may onlly be short term.

    Our season to a tee so far.

    However, as Zip said, only a sprained ankle which could mean it's not as bad as we thought.

    The problem with an ankle strain, particularly for Gordon is the way he plays and turns quickly putting more than average stress on that joint.

    It might pay to keep him out for an additional few days rather than risk him too soon and suffer a worse injury. Just the way Murphy returned too soon following his shoulder injury, as well as a few others.

    It seems because we are short because of the injuries, a few are brought back before full recovery to the detriment of their longer term fitness.

    I wouldn’t read too much into the photo. The doctor’s decided the ankle needs immobilizing for quickest recovery (hence the boot) and to move with one of them on you need crutches.

    There was a photo of him out today, took some photos with kids etc and he wasn't in the boot or anything.
