I wouldn't say it's a knock on Graham, right now we only have two fit centre halves now denholm away. Either of you hose could easily pick up a red card somewhere along the line. Fingers crossed for Gallagher return, was surprised we risked him at Arbroath after coming off the previous match.

Is this lad a centre half only or could he play wing back (probably not if he is slow)

I don’t think Freeman is that bad but JG obviously doesn’t like him

Flynn Duffy also away and JG never played him

We did need cover and JG has said this is what he will provide

If he can read the game well he doesn't have to be Linford. Gavin Gunning was relatively quick but the less said about him the better.

If he was any good Craig Levein would never allow him to leave, sorry for the negativity but its fair to say that he knows a defender when he see's one.

Levein also knows it would be better to use players at his disposal who know the Scottish game better when at the lower end of the league. Has a back three of McGowan, Gordon & Considine. Tommy Wright picks him for the Northern Irish U21s. The potential is there.

might just know they are covered enough and the lad needs games? (and saints to get wages paid for them)
