If the Jews keep on slaughtering defenceless Muslims in what was formerly recognised as Palestine and not Israel Alfie, I can only imagine the repercussions will reverberate on a global scale. And they will not be at all pleasant.

Yes Eire did remain neutral but 46665 Irish men volunteered and fought for the Allies. 5000 of them were killed. In Palestine the Stern gang continued its attacks on British personnel and installations but Irgun and Lehi ( other Jewish terrorist groups) suspended their attacks when the war started until Feb1944 when they resumed and continued until the British with drew. They included the assassinations of Lord Moyne and Count Bernadotte who late in the war had rescued 31000 Jews, their hangings of British sergeants Martin and Paice, the blowing up of the St David's hotel which killed 91 people. About 30 were Britiish and some were Jews. O f course de Valera had his reasons for declaring neutrality, the Irish had been trying to escape British rule for hundreds of years, and so did the leader of the Irgun Menachem Begin who wanted unrestricted immigration of Jews into Palestine which the Palestinians did not want. Sometimes one can't condone events but can understand why they happen.

Totally different than the Russian invasion of Ukraine
What's happening is not defense and everybody can see that.

Spain & Ireland have formally asked the EU to explain just WTF is going on..?

“Against the background of the risk of an even greater humanitarian catastrophe posed by the imminent threat of Israeli military operations in Rafah, and given what has occurred, and continues to occur in Gaza since October 2023, including widespread concern about possible breaches of IHL and international human rights law by Israel, we ask that the Commission undertake an urgent review of whether Israel is complying with its obligations, including under the EU/Israel Association Agreement, which makes respect for human rights and democratic principles an essential element of the relationship; and if it considers that it is in breach, that it proposes appropriate measures to the Council to consider.”

    Quelle surprise!
The majority of the ICJ condemned Israel's action in Gaza (15-2). Didn't make any difference to the UK or USA governments which continue to supply Israel with bombs etc.

Complicit in genocide. Who would expect any less?
