    Hope there’s no truth…

    In this:

According to a new update from Tuttosport [via Sport Witness], Shilen Patel is planning on making Torino manager Ivan Juric West Brom's next boss should he become the club's new owner, with an offer already submitted to the Croatian.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if there is any truth in it as manager of Verona 'he competed in two top flight seasons with impressive results despite having one of the smallest budgets of the league' - says it all really

It’s always risky though isn’t it because nothing less than doing better than Corberan would justify such a decision. Corberans stats are very impressive. Best in the league over the last year.

Got to be cobblers, if he does this Patel
Is an imbecile, we have the best manager in the league by far, would kick off his ownership with mass protests.

I'm in agreement. Even the UK press that caught hold of this rumour say that the Italian source of this story were unreliable at best. Makes no sense. It's not even doing a Blues where their new owners got rid of Eustace, who was doing a decent job, to replace him with the more high profile (if useless) Rooney. The manager of Torino is hardly high profile and Carlos has worked wonders really given the squad and constraints he has had to work with. Seems b ollocks indeed.
