Just picked up from the club website a video covering yesterdays meet & greet photo session with Pines & Cotter at the Metrodome , there were cartloads of kids queuing up to have their shirts signed & photos taken with these two & from the footage it looked liked the pair were brilliant with the kids , great for the kids , great pr for the club & great from the two players , well done lads & well done BFC

It was a half term free Open Day to watch training Shads.

Parents were probably driven up the wall by Thursday with the kids indoors and some 800 were taken down to Grove Street--had to queue to go in in stages.

Most of the players were involved in the photo opportunities with the kids and the chance to buy merchandise.

BP Leisure operate the Metrodome and organised an extra session in the Metrodome in the afternoon with Pines and Cotter and it attracted a few hundred to stay on after training to see the Metrodome facilities.

Cheers for extra info SB, it seems that the whole event was a success , the fact that the weather was kind which isn"t always the case in school holidays was a bonus, well done to everyone involved

Pines is coming across as a nice guy off the pitch from what I’ve seen. Let’s hope he’s now decent on it, when he gets his chance.
