Daleys used to take the p1ss out of Notts for dropping into non league and looked what happened, infact who got promoted last season the same time that Dale dropped into the abis?

Thinking about it Daleys used to take the p1ss out of Bury going under and now look what could happen, you think that they would keep their gobs shut wouldn’t you? 🙄

Hoping Dale can turn this around quickly and end the uncertainty. All the best Dog, Kel, Judd etc.

I can remember going onto the Dale forum and asking about Dales finances during lockdown and being told by Judd and a couple of others that they was fine because they don’t spend money on players that they can’t afford and they live within their means, taking a pop at Notts and Bury along the way,so what’s changed since then bdb? (Serious question)

Did that dodgy takeover bid have any effect on your finances?

There are pages many many threads on this Chally. The board is not the most communicative at the best of times unless it out of the blue (literally) about the “fans forum” scuppering the Colin SWINDLEhurst & co plan to by the club & build a 5 star hotel around it… “someone” was in a local pub, recorded some of their conversations and alerted Kel, Judd, Sandyman & Murray Knight who is the Dale Trust Board representative. Apparently it was a Dale Fan in a Sam Smiths pub called the Black Dog.. never heard of it myself 😇

According to Gauge we were financially stable after Covid then the following happened…

Brian Barry Murphy left for City
Stockdale was appointed & given a large budget he blew on lower non league clowns who all failed… Sacked
Big Jim Bentley to the rescue after bing let go from KFC Fylde… Sacked…
Bet both Managers did not leave with bus fare home (Bullseye quote &#128526..
Poor marketing / no commercial engagement..
the list of Board failures is long & illustrious and let’s not forget legal costs fighting off Morton House hostile takeover ohh & a decision to rent Platt Lane (part of City’s training facilities)… that’s not £20 an hour…

    Clock is ticking….

Things are looking bad for Torquay Utd who today announced that they are going to go into administration with debts of approx £5 million

It’s a shame as they are a proper old style football club,I was surprised to see that they aren’t even in the National League as it was only a couple of seasons ago that they lost in a playoff final back to League Two,it’s not good when we could lose great traditional clubs like Rochdale and Torquay and Premier League clubs lap up the cream

Loved going to Torquay back in the day, great little ground and a friendly Club. But they’re another that’s out on the periphery of England, miles from the centre, making them unattractive to players. A bit like Carlisle really.

A question about Dale though. If there are only 6 weeks to save the Club, why is the EGM not for another fortnight?
