This is not a political comment, so I hope it will be acceptable.

Having sympathy for ordinary people in Gaza and Israel is common humanity - there is no need for a black and white approach. You don’t have to be pro one and anti the other.

From my experience, people are the same - trying to get through life, earning a living, bringing up the kids, keeping food on the table and a roof over their heads.

It is the extremists at both ends of the spectrum that are the problem. I believe that they have been strengthened by social media. Society needs to find a way to weaken them, divide them, neutralise their influence for the benefit of people as a whole.
