    Agree with most of that.

Keep Shinnie, only cause - as Warnock says - he’s the only leader we’ve got.

I’d sell Duk. Today showed again he’s a luxury we can’t really afford.

Quite a lot of the other “ins” are only in for me as squad players.

The state we’re in is just ridiculous tbh…

Sadly, regardless of what anyone thinks. The chances of signing 11 players better than what we have in one window is pie in the sky.

I wouldn't care if we got rid of the lot, it's just really not that simple, as the past few windows have shown.

We really can't afford to f*ck up with the next manager we appoint. We really need someone akin to a miracle worker, appointed in the summer.

I'm not overly confident that we will get either the right manager or players.

The ones I would keep will be gone anyway. McGrath has potential. Our homegrown players need a bit more experience and guidance but deserve the chance. Some need the Old Yeller treatment (but with compassion for long service).

Devlin, MacDonald, Rubi, Clarkson and possibly Polvara are the only other ones we should hold on to but none in my opinion are either good enough or suit the Scottish game enough to keep long term. As said above though we should keep them until we get other more vulnerable positions filled first.

At this snapshot in time, it would be hard tae disagree wi' any o' that min.

However ... Ah think there is a lot more quality in that collection than is being displayed of late.

Roos has been atrocious, but he wisna always. Maybe wi' a less clueless defence in front o' him he might get a better understandin' and make better decisions.

MacDonald should be first pick of defenders, and Ah'm sure Gartenmann would benefit fae a few games alongside him. But, even then, a defence which is forever changin' in terms o' personnel, shape and numbers, is nae gonna find any sort o' rhythm - let alone results .. particularly if they have nae clue who will be playin' in front of them, and in what formation, fae one game tae the next.

Wing/full backs? ... same story .... rarely do they know which wide mid they will be required tae link up wi, ... and same goes wi every other mid who are never sure if they will be on the pitch or on the bench ... all except they can be sure of Miovski up front and Roos between the sticks.

Ah'm nae lookin tae mak excuses, but Ah think it's a bit rich o' Warnock tae be criticisin' players when he is still tinkerin' wi formations and line-ups they are obviously, and possibly understandably, unfamiliar wi.

For Warnock, it's early days - so nae surprise he will want tae experiment. But in terms o' oor club, and season, early days it fkn isna!

Choppin' an' changin' in random fashion is nae how ye build on strengths whilst eliminatin' weaknesses ... as has been demonstrated time and time again via the Pittodrie tombola.

Pointless even worrying about which players should be in or oot.

Under the current regime with their prawsess they would be replaced with a bunch of players who aren’t suited to Scottish football.

    Cormack - Oot
    Gunn - Oot
    Burrows -Oot
The fmb and the rest of Cormacks yes men - Oot.

Until that happens we are only going in one direction.

Consider the following assessment applicable to Warnock, Cormack and likely others which spring to mind (not limited to AFC associated personnel).

Consider the task of completing of a jigsaw puzzle .... even just a wee one.

Anyone with the sensory and or intellectual capacity, within a fairly wide range above or below average will first turn all the pieces the right way up, sort through to find the 4 corner pieces and the straight edges, then look at the picture on the box lid, compare, and arrange. Then, having completed the frame, find pieces which correspond with the colour pattern characteristics of different regions of the box-lid picture ... and go from there.

An individual with mild to significant visual or intellectual impairment will do likewise, but just take a good bit longer.

A higher functioning individual might first turn all the pieces the right way up, then look at the picture on the box lid, and place the pieces as they come to hand, edge, corner, high, low, left, right and centre... and complete the puzzle in good time.

A fkn superhuman might do likewise and complete said puzzle correctly without even looking at the box lid!

An severely intellectually diminished individual, however, will look at the box lid pic, but will not recognise its association with the task, and/or the puzzle pieces, and proceed in connecting the pieces randomly, or in a way it pleases them .... without bothering to first turn all the pieces the right way up ... or even at any stage turn all the pieces the right way up.

A blind person might do likewise ... not being able to see the box lid or see the puzzle pieces ... but probably wouldn't ... he/she/they being equally unable to 'see' the fkn point!

Warnock/Cormack/(add as applicable) would do likewise .... not because they do not see the box lid or the pieces, and not because they fail to recognise the association between the box lid pic and the puzzle pieces .... but because they are adamant that the box lid picture is wrong and they can make a better one!

Which, ultimately, to anyone of average vision and/or intelligence, is fkn moronic!
