Positive is no tillson, negative no Moult/Kai and Grieve playing
Can see his thinking, be more attacking at home, Grimshaw will probably be back for away games on Sat/Tues which makes sense
Thinking itll be something like
Walton
Thomson Gallagher Holt McMann
Mochrie Sibbald
Grieve Meekison Middleton
Watt
On the downside, Morton missing a few key players tonight in Kirkcaldy, the goalie that's been in for most of the unbeaten run, Oakley and Mullen who have been standouts also, their fans don't seem confident
It's official. We've managed to drag ourselves down to the level of Airdrie
Hate to say I told you so but Mochrie Meekison Watt is a bad combination.
Poor first half. Airdrie has had a couple of decent chances... we look like we are trying to walk the ball into the net again. TW is having another stinker of a game. Passes in the final third are embarrassing. We seem to have gone back to trying to win by having the most passes. A change in tempo for the second half please! Can we just pretend that we are a goal down instead of waiting to be a goal down before playing with a bit of urgency.
Painful so far. Zero control or shape. No focal point. It may be an "attacking" line up but so deep and no press it's almost Levein in Czech rep in reality. *Slight exaggeration I know but that was anything but attacking football.
McMann having a sticky patch of form albeit he has arguably been our player of the season so far. Mochrie, Meekinson, Watt having very little impact. Grieve I just don't know what he does beyond running around, zero goal threat. At least Kai gets in the box.
Still think we will win this but war of attrition watching so far. Just go 2 up top, 2 wide and try find someone to sit beside Sibbald. Still shoehorning players into a formation rather than adjusting tactics.
3-0 second half incoming...
weve just got **** all going forward. Need to see Cudjoe on soon.
Need to up this. Middleton like a man down here, not the only mind you.
Get some subs on FFS!
This isn't working. A plan b please.
Been coming.
