There does seem to be a common theme afflicting some of our posters that change would be a bad thing, any potential new owners would automatically be bad/inadequate and TS is a Messiah who can do no wrong.
None of that makes much sense.

Maybe some posters are thankful for what the chairman has done for the club in the past and present and don’t live in la la land like you do .

    TLC, two things pal.

    1. Richard Stewart has no love for football, fact.

    2. Northern club? League 1? Big fan base?
It’s got Weds written all over it. They’ll just be waiting for them to drop to league one so the asking price drops.

New York was New Amsterdam in the 17th century

    New Amsterdam Stadium?

Say it quickly and a strategically placed thumb on the contract they could be fooled into thinking they are buying Rotterdam United.

But it is pure speculation and my guess is if the go for a lower league club it will be somewhere with a bigger potential fan base - Bolton springs to mind, as do:
    Wallsall
    Derby
    Notts County
    Wigan
    Lincoln City
    Brizzle Rovers

With big names in the consortium, it would look like there would be companies lining
up to give sponsorship to the club they select.

This seems more plausible because the latest reports I’ve read indicate they are quite a way down the line in buying a specific club and not just thinking about it
As we aren’t in L1 or L 2 atm it,s unlikely to be us
