    Wolves finances

    Kieran Maguire reporting the below:-
Wolves submit 22/23 accounts. Revenue up slightly but major ⬆️ in player costs meant #WWFC had operating loss of £100 million before player sales reduced this to loss before tax of just £67million. Alarming though that established PL club losing £184,000 a day.

Doesn’t look like the bowl will be getting a much needed fresh layer of custard anytime soon. 😄

Are they that established? How many seasons have they been there? Can’t remember. Not healthy figures though. I suppose there might be a lot in the same boat.

On the whole this is terribly sad news that reflects the decadent state of football in particular and society in general. I would hope that rivalry could be sustained on the pitch between locals. It has become quite disappoing to hear of one local club after another hitting the wall. These are places people live first and football teams second.
Football is long overdue a major reset.
    Long overdue.
