By all accounts this was a game where Charlton should have taken all 3 points. Beaten last time by Northampton at the Valley, they were held to a draw this time.

Charlton it's fair to say played the better football. Karoy Anderson got the first goal for an early Add1cks lead but a goal keeping error, though Isted has done incredibly well since he has assumed the GK gloves, led to Northampton scoring. Appéré rifled the ball into an empty net after after Isted appeared to loose footing after hooking the ball away from Sam Hoskins.

So after dominating the game, the spoils were shared but still grounds for optimism in the games to come where Charlton will play the teams around them.
