Watford v Swansea, Wednesday 6th March, 19:45
Crucial back to back wins against Sunderland and Blackburn are in the bag but we can’t relax as we are still only four points from the drop zone due to teams around us in the table winning on Saturday as well.
Two away games coming up this week against sides with indifferent form, Watford on Wednesday night and Bristol City next Sunday lunchtime.
Watford are in their second season in the Championship after relegation from the top flight. With only one win in their last 8 games they are struggling and have lost their last three home games. Their new manager this season is Valerian Ismael. His job is on the line according to media reports after the latest defeat at Millwall last Saturday. He is Watford’s ninth manager in the last four years.
Unfortunately the Swans will be without key in-form player Jamie Paterson. He went of injured on Saturday after scoring the winning goal, but with Josh Key, Harrison Ashby, Bashir Humphreys, Azeem Abdulai and Jamal Lowe all back from injury the squad is looking that much stronger again.
We must try and continue our mini winning streak and pick up some more points this week before the big one against our fierce rivals Cardiff on Sat 16th March.
