No Townsend & Hope It’s Not Reach

Think Bartley is one booking away from a 2 game ban so he might stay on the bench, the replacement for Townsend depends weather we go for a back 4 or 5, I would probably play a back 5 with Reach at LWB and Leave Diangana out.

Leaving Diangana out would always be my first plan if I was selecting the team.

He’s the perfect player NOT to build a team around.

An integral part of the plan….. if you find yourself on the cusp of writing his name down you immediately pull back and give your head a hard shake.

He’s a leaky vessel confidence wise. He can score a great goal have all his teammates congratulate him, have the manager say “See I told you you are good enough” then go the next 5 games totally out of the match with no confidence. Johnston on the other hand thrives on it. HUGE mentality difference. That’s why players like Diangana are really frustrating and fans get tired of that one match in 20 where he shows what he can do. Get rid.

You say ‘ get rid ‘ but earlier in the thread you said there must be a reason why Carlos prefers Reach to Pipa.

So taking this same comment - perhaps there’s a reason Carlos prefers Grady to any other player!

Grady would be in my team before Reach that’s for sure who consistently is poor!

I agree. Carlos must see something. At the end of the day 3 points is what we want. I personally would get rid, but what do I know compared to Carlos?
