We got Mikey Johnston on the wing

Being in Canada I am only able to attend the occasional game every few years so I haven't heard any Mikey Johnston songs but has anyone thought to adapt some of the old Willie Johnston songs for Mikey Johnston? They seem to fit quite well apart from having to work a little harder to get your tongue around "We got Mikey, Mikey Mikey Mikey Johnston on the wing, on the wing"

Old Willie Johnston songs nowadays would surround lager methinks. Hope all’s well with you Calgary buddy. It seems a lifetime ago when we met up !

I’m doing well. I had a bit of a cancer scare before Christmas which they operated on but it turned out to be a benign tumour and now I am feeling better than I have for years. I have also moved from calgary to British Columbia but have kept the name. How are you doing?

    A lovely place over there!

Had a great Aunt in Vancouver I visited, remember grouse mountain and a trip to Whistler as well.

Much nicer people than their neighbours!
