Thread: Ings - experience

    Ings - experience

Can someone point out, to Kompany that the experienced Ings came on and showed how decision making, right place, awareness, touch, vision, dealing with pressure. All these attributes are not on his computer scouting network.. Because experience is not a metric, that just thinks young inexperienced players from abroad just slot in and become 100mil players.. he actually said there is a 100mil play in the squad. He actually said Amdouni scored higher on this scouting software than Messi.
Honestly wtf is going on with this club. It's like clown world.

Nothing like stats to put things into perspective, thankyou Sinkov. A much improved performance though, at times we looked like the team of last season. Unfortunately defensive errors persist and I don't think subbing at half time unless for obvious reasons is a good idea, their first goal was a right mix up on our part.

Experience or quality I’d ask ?

Tbf as per many instances this season schoolboy mistakes amd errors are the things that cost us - Danny has always been a very good player and when afforded time and space enough - the end result is usually a goal.

We have experience in Cork - Rodriguez - JBG

But not the legs or the quality to alter results in games .

We have made mistakes in too much youth this year and it was a massive gamble - regardless of Trafford a seasoned centre back - centre mid amd a proven scorer would have got us over the line l believe .( the spine of the team ).
(THB may have also struggled at this level let’s not forget. )

This league is brutal amd we offer teams a goal start or two and they duly oblige us - last week at home to Bournemouth we bossed the game but when it came to quality they had it and it cost us again.

As for potential and 100 million players I think odebert could in the future reach that echelon further down the line( maybe not from Burnley ) - prices for quality players are increasing all the time and the lad is just 19 wow - affecting games and barely out of short pants.
Amdouni you mention is another with some potential - brilliant brain and feet just needs a stronger midfield to save his legs going the wrong way - he’d also really benefit from a forward to hold the ball and bring him into play.

Some payers take a long time to adjust in this country and foolishly we expected all ours to turn up day one and hit the ground running - we are paying the price for this - most teams integrate 1-2-3 players into existing we were the exact opposite to this.

I know everyone s on a downer but if we can keep the majority of the team together we may start to see the shoots of growth required to make us competitive in the premiership next time around.

A lot of good points Army, in total agreement about Amdouni. If he spent less time in defence and more time upfield I think we would see a different player'

Barcelona are playing a 16 and 17 year old, Real another 18 year old. If they are good enough they are old enough.

It's the Gawthorpe Black Hole that's killing us.
