    Peel Park, Accrington's old ground

    Because they were always in the 3rd Division North whilst we we, when we were that low, were in the 3rd Division South, we only ever played on that ground once in the freshly merged 3rd tier, Saturday 20th December 1958 and we lost 0-3. I don't suppose there's anybody here that went to that game just a few days before Christmas with Notts in the relegation zone. Attendance was 5,299

    If The Stags make it into L1 John Radford is going to have to spend some of his booze budget on the pitch, that's for sure.
