Manchester United - Addidas Issue Penalty Clause in Kit Contract.

Manchester United new kit contract with Adidas, will mean that Manchester United will pay
a penalty clause of £10m if they fail to qualify for the Champions league, under their new
£90m a year contract, which starts in 2025.
The club announced the biggest kit deal in premier league history, as they announced the
new 10 year partnership with Adidas, worth £900m [£90m a year].

Manchester United original deal, a 10 year deal worth £750m expires next year 2025
Under this current deal, United would have been penalised if they didn't qualify for the
Champions league for 2 seasons in succession.
United never missed out on Europe's elite club competitions for 2 years in a row, but if
they had done, they would have had to pay around £22m.

Under the new Adidas kit deal, Manchester United will receive a bonus of up to a maximum
of £4.4m a year, if United's men's or women's team wins the ' Premier League or Women's
Super League respectively, FA Cup or Continental Competitions.
