Would sort of be good to need something from the game, make it exciting

No…just no! We are Derby, despite your unfailing optimism, we always find a way to disappoint.

Losing Gayle will hurt us, so no easy ride. Hoping to maintain 2nd, but it will be tough.

We do. 10 years since QPR this year. Who'd have thought with the optimism surrounding us then we'd end up here, it just seemed a matter of time before promotion to the PL.

Waggy back in the squad and will play the #9 role next week. Wash is back training fully and will be in the squad at Northampton. Also, straight from the horses mouth... Colle expects to be back in the squad the week after.

Portsmouth 1st…collecting 17 more points to finish on 100.
    Derby 2nd…16/94
    Bolton 3rd…14/88
    The rest…not enough.

Looks like Swale may have been right all those months ago…hope so. Then again, we might lose to Northampton and then crush Pompey. Who can tell? Thoughts?
I think we can safely say my confidence that we would finish in the top 6 was justified! There is still time for Derby to **** it up with automatic promotion, BUT I remain cautiously optimistic that they won't.

IF we win 5 of our last 7, and on paper that looks very possible, that would mean #3, 4 and 5 would have to win all of their remaining games to pass us. Posh play Bolton on the last day so they can't both win all remaining games. Barnsley and Bolton both have to plat Pompey, as do we. It looks like it's ours to screw up. 6 wins from 7 and we're up.

Focus has to be on the next game and no further than that. UTR!
