I can't understand how clubs fall foul of quite simple rules. There is a risk and reward element, but Forest have behaved stupidly.

FFP does keep the status quo in tact, it's an imperfect system and poorly thought out. However, without it there wouldn't be much competition and the richest would be at the top, rather than the current 'big 6'. Newcastle and City would dominate the league without doubt.

We'd be f*cked too as there's a few clubs around us who would love the chance to blow £50m to get up to the prem.
