There was one terrible under-hit back pass from Macari but the keeper came out brilliantly to clear upfield when he looked second favourite

Best I have seen Cameron play. Priority clearing the ball not possession is his game and he did it well (in the main).

Too early?

A little, but this is the best performance under Maynard and the players do look to be playing for him. Nobody was sub-par tonight. Even those who had a questionable start played well and contributed. For once there wasn't a 'wage thief of the match' because they all put in a shift, the spirit was there, the cohesion nearly as good, and the attitude on the pitch once we'd won was one of unity.

Is Maynard the right man for the job? Not sure. But they are not downing tools and let's kick on from here.
