A funny thing happened to me on the way to this Forum. Just as I was crossing the Via Sacra I ran straight into Senator’s wife Incontinentia Buttox and sent her flying over her ars gratia artis. The Romans had a word for that. Schadenfreude. The good thing about this forum is it is not all about football. I was also at Turf Moor for that Anglo-Scottish Cup semi final first leg v Celtic. That was definitely not all about football either. Felt lucky to get home that evening.

When we got promoted last season by a country mile, expectation levels were through the ceiling.
The shock of this seasons performance and management make this the most miserable and depressing since I attended my 1st game, back at moleneux in 1965
You’re a bit older than me Ballcock but my dad s still going and he’s been watching 67 plus years Europe and the lot and he says similar to you.

It’s the hope that kills isn’t it.

Can I start it off BT, if I can be so bold.

    ' Morning Philosopher '

The Eastern Armarda is already afloat,
crossing the Channel in their rubber boat.
we all know, that it's all illegal,
    the Government's response, unbelievable.

Where are you now old Seadog Drake,
you did it once for all our sake.
You pushed them north that Maraca Band,
to The Atlantic, passed that Emerald Land.

I start to wander back to 68,
The Party Conference, that great debate.
An unpopular man, he spoke Blood and Fury,
hung out to dry by his own jury.

It'll soon be time to re-elect,
to ponder on that elite sect.
To anonymously vote with your personal ID,
'Nare', stay at home and wait and see.

Of course it's morning , light up the first fag,
" Yer teas goin' cold ", have another drag.
It's funny what goes through your mind,
when you're sat there, on your bare behind.
