Exactly this, get a run going now and go into the semi on a good run of form.
Big win today, well done Dons.

Yes, but there's a lot of players who need a boot up the @rse when the season is over.

They shouldn't/won't be here after that.

    Just back.

Well, we knew it was going to be tough playing a team fighting to avoid relegation, but we got there in the end.

I don't think our players realised at times that we were fighting for points too.

Got a fortunate goal for the opener and your left thinking it's going to be a stroll in the sun, but hen we couldn't string two passes together and sat deeper and deeper and everyone knew what was coming when they equalised.

They were the better team after their goal and it was only the introduction of Duk and Polvara that changed things for us. We were very poor up until that point.

Duk gave us pace and Polvara gave us a presence in midfield and I said to the loon we were going to get a second and sure enough we did.

We really need a manager to come in and asses what he needs for next season, as no getting away from the fact we need to shift a few on as well as losing a few to contract expiry and loans ending.

You'd like to think we have enough about us to finish the season comfortably, but we all know we can't trust this current dons side.

We won and that is all that matters for today.

Well that’s exactly what we got Sneck.

First off, got the win & ground it out when playing pretty shyte overall so credit for that.

Duk made a difference, Polvara did ok (very unlucky wi the one off the bar) McGrath was decent (he’s the only decent signing we made last summer too) Shinnie put in a shift.

    The rest?

Varied between abysmal, invisible & abysmally invisible.

There’s just no point slagging the defence anymore. They’ve done it all season. They’re just utterly inept at defending set pieces and balls into the box. A complete inability to time & win defensive headers & constantly bullied.

It’s nothing to do with the training pitch, you cant train basic football ability if it’s not there.

That entire back 4 needs changed out. Quite remarkable how we’ve ended up with that. Its 100% a relegation level defence.

Still, the result was all that mattered and we got it. Wee bit of daylight now but still need another 3 wins or so to put this absolute shïtfest clusterfück of a season to bed.

Who knows, the new manager might feel brave enough to stick his head above the parapet now as well…

The Steelmen and the Billy Dainties both dropped points, so that's nae bad.
