Due to their small mindedness Acid I think.

I grew up wanting home nations to all do well as a kid and then when I started work and came across people from other home countries I was amazed at their attitude.

A lad I worked with at Dunlop Sports literally spat in anger when it came to discussing any sporting event between us.

I found that laughing at these sort of people and acting like I/we really don’t care wound them up even more.

Euro 96 v Scotland and the Gazza goal was the sweetest moment ever in international football for me.

Absolutely spot. Being English I’d have to say that……………perhaps we English are the worst as we perceive we are better. We all need each other that is the truth. Sporting wise we can support our own, collectively we need to stand as one.

If we were at war, we’d all be together as we have been and as history shows. ( well nearly always perhaps)………..Hopefully we would still be going forward.

When I was a kid I used to go to Saundersfoot and remember fishing in the rock pools of Coppet Hall and then mackeral fishing. Loved it! Mick will know all these areas!
