It's early days yet Alfie. Tests, tests and more tests to come.

I only got the news just under three weeks ago.

First job is to reduce the alcohol intake and then have a succession of blood tests.

We shall see, I'm not fazed I have had one hell of a ride and I'm fairly certain there is plenty of life in the old dog yet.

Like you, I'm emptying my bucket (list) as fast as I can Sir Outwood. It's only money.

Best of luck with it mon ami. After not troubling the NHS for my first 77 years if I had to list what's gone wrong with me in the last 12 months I'd be here all day. I'm now on first name terms with half the nurses in Blackburn Royal. It's no bloody joke this growing old.

I knew my ultra-hedonistic lifestyle would catch up with me one day mon ami. It appears now may be the time but I shall see!

It certainly is mon ami, but I may be out of commission for a few weeks, the hernia op last year hasn't worked, I'm hoping to have it sorted in the next few weeks, seeing the surgeon on Tuesday and hopefully get a date soon after.
