Yep - time catches up with all of us but I suspect Rodon and Ampadu and simply far better players than Cooper ever was.

He has been great for us over the years and still gives his all but …..

This is a change of topic. Watched Newcastle play Wet Spam. Hameers up 3-1, Phillips gets a loose ball in his penalty area. Gordon comes round from the back, hooks his leg round to try to get the ball ( i.e. a tackle), kalvin has eyes on the ball, just tries to kick it but accidentally gets both ball and Gordon's foot. He goes down like he was struck by lightning. Ref gives nothing. VAR. Referee gives a penalty. So the person who makes the tackle, doesn't get the ball, is then rewarded with the penalty. I have seen bad decisions before, but apart from questionable hand ball decisions in the box, this is the worst. Sorry for the change of topic. Just had to get off my chest.

Also regarding Philips , there is footage doing the rounds of him giving West Hams fans the finger after they waited around an hour after the game for the players to get on the team bus and singled out Philips for some distasteful abuse , they branded him useless and basically telling him to foxtrot oscar out of their club.

Very unlike KP that but understandable , players aren't robots.

Agree that it must be difficult, but he has been the architect of his own downfall, nobody made him do what he has done.
