It wont take that long for you to recover. Six months is for big fat lazy people who never exercise. You are active and all supporting muscles and temdons will be supply if just a little rested. Just don't go nuts initially.

    Then go nuts....

    How were the pants?

The pants left indentations making my a r s e look like a f kin colander!

I can already walk absolutely fine on it and don’t need crutches Dubs.

Completely different result to the arthroscopy I had done 35 years ago which was cutting edge at that time.

When I have it done again in another 35 years I reckon it’ll be seamless!

    Maybe not.

I’ve always had the ambition to live past 100 and still be pretty healthy.

I usually achieve my goals in life so it’s never wise to write me off.

Dubs, can you give me a heads up about the drugs I’ve been supplied please.

The info supplied requires a degree to understand.

The one drug is supposed to be taken twice a day and the Codine every six hours, both are for pain relief.

It says to take them before any pain and not to wait until pain actually starts.

I’m conflicted at the moment as it’s 6 1/2 hours since the op and I feel fine?

Have you any idea how long it’s likely to be until the stuff they pumped into me wears off?

My surgeon is a guy called Marcus Green at Priory Hospital in Brum, a really good bloke.

He was actually trained in the late 80’s by Mr Tubbs who did my previous knee opps so it’s quite fitting that he’s been back in to tinker with his mentor’s work!🤣

At 28 I asked Tubbs to keep my running until I was 50 which seemed a lifetime away, he kept me going until I was 62 so fair play to him.

I’ll take 85 and jogging at this point. 😏
