It’s a moot point though. The game was dead and Stockport played with less intensity. Woopi for Notts scoring 2 goals when the game was over.
Sadly the team and in particular Baldwin has no backbone when things started going wrong. They don’t have the individual or collective nous at this level to try and stay in the game. A proper leader is an absolute must when the recruitment team start putting their lists together. Someone on the pitch who can grab the game and the players around him by the scruff of the neck.

That’s what they did when they were in the NL, signed Sarcevic a proper leader, he totally changed their fortunes big time that season as they were struggling a bit before he arrived.

It's not the loss, it's the manner of the loss.

Come to conclusion SM and chuckle brothers nowhere near as professional as LW and RH. Feeling pessimistic about next season.

We just can't do that though, yes we are a bigger club than Stockport but financially they're in a completely different league to us. Their owner is a billionaire who's got more money than the Wrexham boys. There's a reason the likes of Sarcevic, Powell and Challinor ect all dropped down leagues to join them. Certain players in our squad that are under contract next season need to be moved on, but realistically who's going to take them that's our issue.

Although he looks like another example of poor recruitment.

Yeah it’s alright going on about individual mistakes, but Maynard’s the head coach so f’kin coach them not to make so many mistakes. If it’s all about getting new players in, what’s the point in having a head coach at all?

Can anybody name a single positive difference he’s made since being here?

It's hard to say really, Maynard isn't doing well and he's definitely looking like a downgrade on LW but I don't think many managers would do better with these shambolic defenders.

Going to be a tough decision in the summer do we back Maynard with new CBs and see how he gets on or change both?

It is hard to argue against your sentiment but LW ( a better coach in my opinion) couldn't coach out the errors and I would argue Cameron has improved of late and Nemane whilst still rarely able to provide consistently good crosses has started to be more direct. Of course collectivelly we are a true reflection of our league position and ultimately the buck lies with Maynard.
