Saw liverpool play brighton last weekend. Brighton are a midtable Premier League club. The gulf in class was depressing. Brighton scored after 85 seconds but still were totally outclassed. I think we have to spend about 150 million pounds to contend for top 4 positions.

Rodon and Ampadu played two internationals - one for 120 minutes, Then away to Watford and then home last night? crazy the manager expecting them to manage that load - if he trusted others more when we have been coasting in games he could have given Charlie, Shack etc more minutes - but he doesnt even last night he brough two on in the 94th minute.
It is admiral that the team still finds ways to win particularly this calendar year, but they look like theyre all running on empty and need time out. As for Somerville taking the ball off Piroe atfter he had put it on the spot - so publicly - greedy little **** is just trying to big himself up all the time - dont like the little **** tbh. Piroe will remember that - and Frankly Farke should be making thatdecision not Somerville embarrasing a team mate like that.
We might not agree on much, but that post is 100% spot on (and in particular the bit about Summerville, he is undoubtedly talented and for sure we won't keep him if we aren't promoted, but he loves himself a bit too much (Cue the Justin Bieber track!)).

we have had 4 90+ minute goals and 1 in the 89th Minute.
Ipswich are going nowhere apart from up imo
    Another one we agree on.

Not sure how he is expected to show his worth when he gets no game time?

I just wish we had reached the position of worrying about competing with the likes of Brighton.
They get superb managers from nowhere.
Buy players for zilch, then sell them for zillions.
Replace them immediately without even missing them.

Yep - my only worry about Farke is his lack of squad rotation at times and lack of ga e time for the bench.

Geldhardt, Cresswell and Shacks (granted he has been injured recently) all have had limited game time.

No doubt with some justification he would point to how many points we have.

We are 2nd and still in the mix with 6 games to go and had you given us this start of the season well we would have ALL took it!

6 cup finals to go , lets see where it ends.
Let's hope the LUFC players see it that way.

From a sports performance/psychology perspective you need to just treat them all like any other game

Our ability to employ a “cool” cognitive system of behavior rather than a “hot” emotional system proved to be our winner again.

Hull do like their possession & neatly stroke the ball around but as their seasons stats prove they just dont have the players to bang 'em in.

So 4 points coming from a nasty International break for us with goals, confidence & belief yet again from players off key with stuttering fitness levels but still with the will to fight on.

Well done too Farke for keeping the squad focused & not mentally depleted via dealing with too much stress.
    Results business in it !
    Sleep well everyone. 👍
Post #142 refers, I told you so. all the psycobabble in the world can't disguise the fact that our status in the Championship is very largely on the basis of luck, interspersed with some brilliant performances against our closest opposition that show we can do the business, we just don't have the spine, physicality and determination to do so.
