Jatta with late consolation headed goal after coming in the 75th minute after 75 minutes of the game screaming out for someone tall in the box and the high ball in.

I'm going for the classic Notts where they pull it out the bag and win 3-2.

This is really hard because, never mind picking a score, it's anyone's guess what the actual result may be (other than that a win for Notts looks a bit unlikely to say the least). My expectation is that no matter how many we score, our defence will conspire to hand back the initiative. As others have said, that may not be a wholly bad thing. Maybe we have to endure enough defeats to bring the situation to a head, so we can align owners' wishes, manager's capabilities and players' perceptions as we make a fresh start. One of the saddest things is that the players we already have are actually quite capable of being competitive in L2, given an experienced manager.

Lose tomorrow and not only do we have a record 6 consecutive home defeats, we'd also equal the record number of consecutive home league defeats to any individual club, which stands at 5 to Millwall and we've lost the last 4 at home to MKD.

H2H no wins in the last 12 meetings with a 0.41 PPG ratio against them overall, the worst record against any side we've played 10 or more times.

MKD aren't great away, 13th in the away results table, and for conceding in consecutive away games they are currently on the worst run in the division, 11 on the trot without a clean sheet (shared with Morecambe).

Ending a terrible pattern of results can come when you least expect it, but with this fixture coming only 3 days after the debacle at Swindon (who were in dreadful form) you have to predict another defeat for Notts if you're taking this prediction lark seriously.

    Notts 1 MKD 4
