The goals conceded were absolute shockers, pub footballers would be ridiculed for such nonsense.

Johnston not doing his job from the corner, their scorer was in 7 to 10 yards of space on his own on the edge of our area, that should never happen……Johnston was loafing, not concentrating.

Our centre halves were no better and Mowatt and Yok were busy doing nothing.

    The second goal……jeez….Furlong FFS.

Terrible body shape he took up, wrong angle and left himself flat footed as he waived a leg at the through ball.

For those of you who’ve never played, Furlong did everything wrong here, his positioning and body shape are basics, he doesn’t do them!

Watch Bartley, he goes to sleep on the edge of the box and fails to track his man who then scores, Ajayi was absolutely clueless as well, he didn’t check over his shoulder for danger and let the cross go past him.

It’s hard to explain just how poor these two goals were, I could cry at the ineptness of pro players at times.

Just plain lazy and lack of caring tbh.

Missed Kipre today , if only Asante had got that Ist goal . Johnson has been sussed out .

Despite some of his recent errors, think you are right about Kipre although, to be fair, I thought Ajayi generally did well today. As Mick says, defensively too many of our players were caught sleeping today and Watford punished us for it.

Whilst Johnston has certainly not recaptured the form he had before his international duties I'm not so sure he has been "found out" as much as the opposition are now more aware of the dangers he can present and accordingly mark him far more tightly. I know some of his passing was sloppy today but he often found himself surrounded by players who limited his options and abilities to run. Watford are a decent team and pressed us well today.

Despite the errors and under performances from some it was still good to see them show the spirit to fight their way back into the game though and wierdly that come back (and Norwich and Coventry losing of course &#128513 makes it feel more like a win than a draw. Thought all the subs did well and had the desired impact.

Would not disagree with any of that. To be fair Johnston had two men on him most of the match. Goals from them were comical and Furlong was dreadful apart from his goal. Like Asante but for God Sake - you can’t miss absolute sitters like he did.

Diangana was a class act when he came on and I would try Phillips at full back as would do a better job!
