What's really farcical is that the award ceremony is a month before the end of the season, still plenty of twists and turns in the offing at that point.

That said from my own perspective I really couldn't give a toss about Manager or Player of the Year award ceremonies anyway. Load of old b@ll@x 😃 .

I agree. Even if they don’t go up, to be this far up the table after so long when they were just hoping to stay in the championship is more than worthy.

Farke - you could argue Corberon has done a better job as Leeds came down from the Premier and still have some Premier players so you would expect them to be there!

Ably assisted in the recruitment process by a couple of former Albion board members who've backed him to the hilt, unlike Carlos whose had to make the most of our inconsistent recruitment policy over a number of years which has left us with an oddly assembled mish mash of largely post peak players on inflated wages.

And therein lies the real quality of this manger. What he has managed with no shoe string and probably no pot to pyss in either.
He inherited a group of players partly assembled by Bruce and with no backing from the owner.
I honestly think if we saw what he has achieved, results wise, at another team, we would be singing his praises.

    I agree.

I’d also add John Eustace who did a great job at Blues prior to the takeover and who is now sorting out Brighton.

I don’t like him as a bloke and a mate of mine who once had the misfortune of speaking to him reckons he’s an arrogant w anchor but Mark Robbins at Cov is ahead of Rosenior in my opinion.

Like baggieal, I get why McKenna is there but whilst Farke has done well I agree with others that, given the comparative restraints he has had to work with, Corberan has done better.

In some ways the nominations are pretty meaningless though and I'm sure Carlos is well aware of how the fans feel about him. Always nice to have your achievements recognized by your peers and competition but probably nicer still to know you are appreciated by those you work with whether bosses, team or fans.
