In my opinion the SPFL made a mistake having an 11am pitch inspection.
If they had waited until 3.30pm for the first pitch inspection this would have resulted in the covers still being on the pitch when the heavy rain fell on Dens Park.
I enclose the rainfall radar from the Met Office website. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather...=1712793600000
However the same rainfall radar shows that steady rain would have been falling during tonight’s game had it taken place.
The forecast on the Met Office website up to and including next Tuesday is looking promising so hopefully the game will take place next Wednesday evening.

The SPFL did nothing about the Rangers supporters setting off the flares which made headline news throughout the U.K. and beyond. I can only assume that Neil Doncaster is scared stiff of Rangers FC and he will avoid doing anything to upset them to ensure that he keeps his well paid job as Chief Executive of the SPFL.

Doncaster asks Rangers what to do. Don't expect him to be uninfluenced by the toxic venom coming out of the Rangers side of Glasgow. The flares escapade was just so typical. Not a cheap from them.

Agree that they didn't want to risk playing us before their game against Celtic.

Think we should keep our heads down until after both our Aberdeen and Rangers games have been played.

Anyone know what the difference between 6th and 7th is in terms of money? Can't find anything to say how the £'s for league place is divided up.

    Found figures online showing League prize money as 1) 3.85m 2) 2.75m 3) 2.36m 4) 2.1m 5) 1.94m 6) 1.8m 7) 1.65m 8) 1.57m 9) 1.5m 10) 1.43m 11) 1.36m 12) 1.29m. Last season we got 0.8m for winning the Championship.
