Charlton beat Wigan 3-2 last time round and were made to pay for not taking their chances this time as both sides shared the spoils of a 2 all draw in a 12 game unbeaten run for the Add1cks.

The first goal was an own goal after Wigan's skipper sliced a clearance over the Wigan goal keeper Sam Tickle under pressure from the onrushing Alfie May.

George Dobson and Karoy Anderson both had further chances in the first half.

In the 2nd, Thierry Small and Dobson again had more chances before Charlie Kelman scored for Wigan again in the 62nd minute. Kelman scored Wigan's 2nd just four minutes later.

Chuks Aneke made amends for failing to score in front of goal from a well deserved headed goal of his own with an assist form the every indefatigable George Dobson.

Charlton goals: Hughes (og) 20, Aneke 79

Wigan goals: Kelman 62, 66
