Grist, he simply has to move on to better himself if he wants to claim his National shirt. Dropping down to league 1 will simply harm that position.

Depending who he signs for, a Championship team as a minimum, he's going to cop a far better wage and probable 2-3 year contract, something that we as a club couldn't get anywhere near those figures.

My bad, forgot about the last 2 year deal he agreed to that showed great commitment to our cause as well as his own.
