Please help my understanding. How the feck can they be beaten 5 then come to Elland Rd and win? Ruined my weekend. Our only saving grace is Ipswich failed to win. Fk this is painful, frustrating and annoying.

The one bit Farke got very wrong today was the change in formation which left us vulnerable to the counter - there were a few times in the first half where we lost it and they broke but they had the numbers.

When he made the changes we actually seemed to be making progress down the right a little more and chances were starting to come.

We have been a tad unlucky with some decisions over the last few games but the squad we have us up there with Southampton and Leicester’s and he Farke doesn't seem to utilise it as well as he might. Be brought Bambi on up front and he had a great chance with a header and screwed it up (Deja vu).

I jested elsewhere 91 points might win the league and the way all of the top 3 are going that might be the number of this keeps up so undoubtedly there is pressure.

Positives from today - Archie in midfield, Gnonto and Piroe provides miles more threat than Bamford.

A further negative was the post match presser where Farke just came out with meaningless nonsense.

You would argue black was white if it mean you could disagree with me. Nothing negative or positive about the opinion, it was just that, an opinion based on witnessing a performance. You want to define things as negative or positive, especially wrt LUFC at present, you will be doomed to negativity. Despite your assertion (and that of others) I'm not. See my comments following the performances against Leicester, Ipswich and I return to the game v Chelsea. All pleasing, all enjoyable, all worthy of praise. Positive/negative? Don't care, just my opinion at the time on a match by match basis, as has always been the case.

And as for me agreeing with you not being important, of course it isn't, I apologies for mentioning it, but it wasn't a platitude, it was just a statement of truth.

"In Farke we trust"? Yeah right, a diminishing band of brothers methinks.

Bristol have been scoring and winning recently (nearly got a draw against Leicester), unlike LUFC.

When over recent weeks has Der Fuhrer provided anything more meaningful?

"We have adopted, over the last couple of months at least, tactics which appear to be aimed at boring the opposition to death (along with the rest of us watching), as opposed to the direct, threatening, aggressive, EXCITING football that gave us results like those against Ipswich, Leicester and lets not for get the skin-of-the-teeth win that Chelsea got after us having given them the fright of their lives!"
    ....................................

I think youre memory is playing tricks. As I recall BOTH games against Leicester resulted in fortunate wins for us especially the home game when we where garbage for 80 minutes and should probably have been four down by then - in both games Leicester could and probably should have won had they taken a couple of the hatful of chances they created, Both Leicester and Ipswich played us as equals - on the front foot trying to win the game - at least 6 of the 8 goals we scored against Ipswich came from quick counters from our own penalty area as Ipswich where pressing and attacking us - something Sunderland, Blackburn, Stoke, Birmingham, Sheffield Wednesday, Preston, Huddersfield, and the rest of the shyte that have managed to take points off us haven't even attempted - other than bullying us physically, time wasting, fouling, delaying with thr odd foray forward.
I dont think we are doing anything different recently, just not had the breaks or the skills to break stubborn negative teams down - and this has been a problem we havent resolved for about 5 seasons now.

I dont think our players are not trying now, in fact I think that they are trying too hard and snatching at things due to the lack of confidence and form and the season end pressure felt by ALL the top teams.

To suggest that they dont want promotion or don't care is absolute nonesense, this isn't the couldn't care less shower of last season.
