    Swansea v Rotherham

    Swansea v Rotherham Sat 13 April 15:00
On paper we should beat Rotherham easily. They are bottom of the table, already relegated and have just four wins all season.
Football never works out like that though and I’m expecting a hard fought game.

    Swansea 1 (Rinomhota 74’ og) - Rotherham 0
It took a late own goal to decide this match with Rotherham frustrating
Swansea with their dogged defending. They almost snatched a draw in the final seconds though but Tom Eaves headed over.
To be honest it was a bore fest and very little entertainment to excite the crowd.
The main thing at the end was that we got the three points to make us safe from relegation.
One home match left of the season in three weeks time.

A bit of a come down after the Stoke performance. We were unable to break down a defence that had conceded a whopping 84 goals this season.
A lot of work to be done this summer. We’re desperate for a creative midfielder and a goalscorer up front. Our tendency to concede from set pieces needs addressing too, Eaves almost equalised at the end against the run of play.

Well that one is best forgotten. Doesn’t look too bad on the highlights but it was a hard watch. Huddersfield came to contain us and hit us on the break. It worked and we had to rely on an own goal and a missed chance from Eaves to get the points.
